Belize Liveaboard 2025
I have no real excuse why I haven’t written this earlier but I went to Belize with my friend Darren for a week aboard the Belize Aggressor III. We departed Orlando on October 11th through Miami to Belize City where we were gathered by a shuttle that took us across the city to the boat. We got to the boat a little early so we walked around the area and hung out at a local cafe until we were allowed to board. The rest of the day was typical of the first day of a liveaboard experience with orientation and safety announcement, setting up our dive gear, meeting the crew and the other guests, and having dinner. We were informed that during the prior week one of the two engines had broken down and it was not working but we would be able to complete our full tour, just a little bit slower. This ended up meaning that we didn’t hit as many of the dive sites and we repeated dive sites more than usual. Overall, the trip was great. The diving was great if not a little repetitive but frankly I enjoy all of the time I have under water. In the captain’s log I am the one holding two rubber chickens.
