Mini post: Derby Dive 2026

I am back home after a weekend diving off the coast of Boynton Beach, FL. This was the Orlando Reef Divers’ Derby Dive 2026, which is our traditionally first dive of the diving season. It’s called the Derby Dive, as we coordinate it around the running of the Kentucky Derby, so that we get two days of diving in, and we watch the horse race. We dove with Ocean Eight’s Diving on board the “Sexy Walrus”. It was a good weekend of diving, minus a little wave action towards the end of the first day of diving.
